Happy christmas, to any one who may read this. Over here christmas eve is the real party so last night was a big night that cost more for dinner than my previous five dinners added together the food was anything but traditional irish christmas dinner but we were eating dinner in an italian restaurant. There was more wine and champagne then you could shake a stick at though. The guys were suffering today from the excess the night before. Well got to go,
Andrew

All I´ll say right know is that this place is amazing. Having a great time over here visiting a friend Kevin (kevfoley.com) aka celtic adventurer. There will be five of us spending christmas over here Kevin, Paul, Ciaran, Tom and yours truely. Was in Uruguay yesterday fot the day and tomorrow I´m doing some shopping in BA and then doing some tourist attractions . Only wish I had more time.

Watch this space for the final installment of my trip to america. Coming soon more surf shots and a few pictures from the crater of a volcano. Definetly worth checking out.

Just out for a quick surf, life is hard living beside the beach. Ireland is going to be so cold when i get home but at least the only sharks i’m going to run into walk on the land. At least then i won’t have to look for them in the water. Slowly getting over this fear of large grey fish in the water. Only two full days left in oahu then it’s the big island for me. Soon afterwards it will be time for LA and a culture shock main land style.

Aloha,

Well before i arrived in hawaii i was worried about sharks. I’m still worried about sharks but not nearly as much as before. So far i’ve dived with sharks, swam in shark cove(doesn’t actually have any sharks in it though) and gone surfing.
So far the most dangerous thing that has happened is i lost my board right in the impact zone while out surfing today. As you might have figured probably not the best place to do this. Thankfully i was able to swim out of there pretty damn quick. With a bit of help from Morgan the crazy french man. The only problem then was where had my board gone. Thankfully not long afterwards rob came paddling over to me with my board in tow. Luckly for me he caught one of the waves in the set that i missed.
What a day, and only six more weeks and I’ll be back in Ireland :(
but of course being home has the advantages to seeing Xanthe and of course everyone else as well. Will have some more photos up soon as well so keep an eye out.
Aloha,
Andrew

Well it’s been a long time since i got to hawaii and to be honest I haven’t gotten to do much yet. I’m working away at gap and having fun. I’m not earning to much money but hopefully I’ll earn enough to survive and get a bit of a holiday in at the end. There is loads to do here but at the same time very little.
Pearl harbour is a must see. There are very few things that I’ve seen abroad that i rate so highly. It really reminds you of the history lessons i had when i was 14. I still can’t remember the date it all happened but I’ve got a better understanding of how it all started. Hearing from a local who’s parents saw the planes flying over head makes for an interesting story.
I might finally have found somewhere to stay at least for the last month that I’m here as well which is cool. Finally get to open my bag and un pack even just for a few days.
We are expecting a tropical storm to hit on friday which will be cool in that really windy and possibly dangerous way. It will definetly be my first tropical storm.
As far as photos are concerned i definetly plan on getting more up there soon. If clicking on the picture doesn’t work just try it a few times and it will eventually work for you.
It’s 11:33 pm over here and i think it’s time i went to bed so i wish anyone today who reads this a good day.

Aloha,

Andrew
